It’s quite clear that ADUDA is talented at songwriting. At the age of 13, she started acting upon this talent by writing poetry, with this developing into writing musical parodies. She realised the power of words at a young age, and how she could use them for expression, and this made its way into her own lyricism. Her immersive songwriting is meant to connect, inspire and fully engage her audience.
ADUDA is set to make 2023 her year with her infectious new debut “Makeup Bag.” The track features a colourful melting pot of heartwarming synths, grooving bass lines and grand-sounding drums. On top, her vocals are emotionally-penned and come drenched in pop sensibilities, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.
Speaking about the track, she says: “I never really had a social life when I was younger, and found a way to escape my reality by writing whatever came to my mind and keeping it to myself. But on Makeup Bag, the lyrics and the melody came at the same time in my head, so I turned it into a song instead.”
ADUDA wants her music to provide a safe space for her audience to find solace within. Her songs highlight emotions, struggles and insecurities. A proud Brazilian, ADUDA will do everything she can to reach the top and inspire those around her, and we certainly think she’ll do that.
