With a keen mind and a humble spirit, Alex approaches each artistic endeavour as an opportunity to explore uncharted territories of self-expression.
Alex Eydt has just released ‘Face Her’, which features energetic beats and ethereal vocals that flow beautifully alongside a gentle guitar arrangement.
The track is the polar opposite of the synth-pop sound that he swept in with, as ‘Face Her’ feels like a massive shift in direction.
In Alex’s own words “The song is really just a soundtrack to the cycles that porn puts you through. The drums are repetitive, the sounds are lonesome, the voice is weak and almost zombie-like.
There’s sex sounds scattered throughout and the drop is perfectly unfulfilling. I was probably consuming a lot of Radiohead at the time and that, subconsciously, turned out to be the perfect lens to frame it through.”
