Alexander Nate shares atmospheric single ‘Rescue Me’

Meticulously crafting a distinctive artist vision that has built him a committed fan base, Alexander Nate has seen success after success. The Ethiopian-American has recently toured across North America and Europe to promote his last EP There’s No Signal In The Mountains.

His latest single ‘Rescue Me’, comes after ‘Givin’ In’ and ‘Slow Down’ in support of the deluxe edition of There’s No Signal In The Mountains, giving fans another taste of the refined, beautiful R&B emotion that Alexander roots his music in. Soulful, atmospheric and infectious, the track is filled with impassioned sound design.

Effortlessly layering his touching vocals, Alexander adds warm keys, gentle, but onward-moving drums, and the occasional guitar flourish. The track continues to feel personal throughout, never over-producing, but gradually expanding the horizons into spacey synths. Finding the avenue between upbeat pop and true, authentic emotion, the track ends on a wistful note.

Alexander explains how the song came to be written, “Once tour was finished, I knew I had to head back to the mountains to be able to finish the deluxe. Something about the silence out there that makes it easier to hear what I’m trying to say.

The first song that came out of that time was “Rescue Me”. The melody started playing in my head as I was driving through the trees. By the time I got there I knew exactly what I wanted to say with this song.”

‘Rescue Me’ is out now!
