Liverpool’s very own Amelia is a pop-up-and-comer who, since her 2022 debut, has lifted spirits and delivered emotional heartbreak, able to capture themes of love with intention and vibrance. In 2025, she’s steadily pulling back the curtain on her debut EP, sending new waves of excitement for the artist.
The latest of these unveilings is ‘Burn’, a single that starts with an atmosphere of love and chaos. The singles’ plucky synths, cinematic drum lines, and swelling bass tones lead you perfectly into a smokey vocal performance. Amelia, in tone alone, delivers an impressive blend of love, lust, hesitance and stability.
The choruses are then free to become a blend of celestial and euphoric, whilst Amelia ties it back down to a grounded earthly reality. There’s a purity in honesty here that tees up the EP to be something truly affecting, through warmth, sentiment and passion.
