Joshua Klevorn and co-member AJ have begun Amos Ender’s recorded run in 2025 with dynamic, fiery, guitar-driven soundscapes. ‘Tailspin’, their debut, and follow-up ‘Red Suitcase’ were both met with attention, but the true story was yet to arrive. Now, Into The World Of Man, the debut album, takes centre stage. It’s as refined as you’d expect from a band that took the time to build their reputation on the live circuit of NYC before forging a sound in the studio.
The project totals eight tracks and opens with a known entity of a teaser single. The band’s sound is eclectic but cohesive, darting across different distortion-laced concepts and creating a constant drive in the atmosphere no matter the tempo.
Into The World Of Man is raw, emotional and melancholic, but in no way simple, creating a moody story from all of the separate foundations. Vocals cry out, drums create upbeat moments, and bass tones swell from the depths right to the forefront of the mix.
The band explains, “Into The World Of Man was initially born out of a few rushed demo releases made under self-imposed pressure to ‘just get some music out there.’ However, it didn’t take more than a handful of shows before I realised these tracks still needed work – a lot of work.
Much of what was still in my head whenever I heard these songs had not made its way into their performance. Parts that seemed great in the studio fell flat before an audience. And there was no overarching narrative that could begin to tie all the disparate ideas together.
Five years (and dozens of revisions) later, I am proud to release Into The World of Man. Propelled by the beginning themes of Amos Ender’s history and relentlessly restructured to match the level of theatrics and emotion I strove for in every live performance, this album offers a glimpse of what Amos Ender might become if given the chance to tell his tale.”
