ANML have shared their new single, ‘IT’S OVER‘, which flips the script on Hollywood’s recycled ideologies of love.
‘IT’S OVER‘ is a bold and authentic love ballad which focuses on the beauty and resolve that comes from letting go of love. Opposing the expected fairytale re-embrace that’s become the norm, the new single takes a stand promoting pride, self-worth and inner peace.
The new cut comes equipped with an equally striking visual accompaniment, directed by Kill Freeman. In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the innovative video comprises a number of interview-style clips which let women from a diverse range of communities tell real stories of recovery and empowerment. Providing a platform for women to reveal their strength and truth in the aftermath of horrendous situations, Freeman and ANML have rendered something truly moving. Watch below.
Translated into more than 10 languages, including Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, French and Polish, the video is accessible to women everywhere, giving viewers a sense of community, support and liberation.
