The Russian singer, songwriter, and producer has the whole package. After being featured in some exciting local platforms, she is aiming to spread her talent worldwide with the release of her latest body of work: ‘Missing Piece’.
The EP is made up of 4 tracks and serves as a statement piece for Anna’s fresh and attractive producing style. Warm synths and soft vocals meet in perfect union. “Precious Love” is a mix of various genres and yet, Makeeva manages to inject her own sound signature to produce a standout track.
“Rendezvous” is an infectious song with rhythmical beats, attractive percussion and her subtle vocals encompassing unique instrumentation. As such, the tune is a bit more energetic than the others on the record.
The EP closes in a charming fashion with “Good Signs”. Using her talent to full effect, Makeeva creates a radio-ready, chilled song that showcases strong songwriting and a wide range of vocal techniques, capturing with ease the essence of the whole EP.
