Capturing the thoughts and feelings of young love and self-discovery aryy gets cute and quirky on her brand new EP ‘get a clue’. The sugary sweet collection of tracks tells the tale of love’s fickle complications; with its featured single ‘i’ve grown out of you’ narrating the relatable tale of getting over someone. Discussing the lead single, aryy explains: “’i’ve grown out of you’ is about realizing that I’ve grown, changed and matured from the person I used to be when I was with a certain someone while I notice them stuck doing the same old things living in their own made Neverland”, aryy reflects, “writing this song was an important mark for me as to when I finally started getting over this person who broke my heart”.
Growing up in São Paulo, Ariel Mancanares (better known as aryy), grew up dancing to her father’s record collection and becoming acquainted with the guitar, igniting a passion for music from a young age. After completing her degree in dentistry and travelling through the USA and Europe, aryy relocated to Los Angeles where she finished her EP whilst performing at local venues and waiting tables in the Valley. Now boasting a YouTube channel with over one million subscribers, be prepared to hear a lot more from this talented pop prodigy.
