Barbara Falzoni was born in Switzerland, moved to Spain and studied music theatre in its capital, then moved to London, starting a new point in her life to focus on honing a deep-rooted musical talent. Debuting with critically acclaimed EP Raw, Barbara showed her emotional diversity to the world, crafting anthemic moments and stripped-back authenticity.
Barbara’s latest single, ‘Diamonds in my Heart’ was written to feature in Neil Marshall’s ‘Duchess’, the artist placing herself amongst the soundtrack, whilst her sister, Giada Falzoni, plays the character of ‘Maria’.
Barbara shares how important this moment is, adding, “Having a song of mine playing in my sister’s, Giada Falzoni, first movie is an absolute dream”
The track was once again crafted alongside Barbara’s multi-grammy-award-winning team in Miami. Emotional and cinematic, her voice perfectly suits the orchestral nature, the power of the music not lost on her angelic melodies. Captivating the listener amongst bond-esque guitars, soaring strings and tension-building percussion, it is taken in Barbara’s stride, the artist brimming with the same moving presence and tonal control. Her love-drenched whirlwind is ever poignant, the passion and poise both sensitive and powerful.
