Bliss Carmxn showcases vibrant debut EP ‘Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours’

With music featured in award-winning television series, appearing on LGBTQ fundraiser albums and being interviewed by national radio, Bliss Carmxn has gone from strength to strength across his career, with his bright, colourful pop sound garnering attention from tastemakers since his debut.

Bliss Carmxn is the moniker worn by Canadian-born, London-based writer Adam Kaasa, whose start in choir singing has formed into a presence as a proudly queer one to watch.

Bliss’ latest project is the debut EP ‘Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours’, comprised of four tracks that showcase the versatility of his writing through vibrant sparkling of pop, alternative and dance music. The first track ‘Hey Oh Hey’ soars through pounding drums and sky-high melodies, energising listeners into the graceful electro-folk singalong ‘Hear’. Next comes the emotive ballad ‘Big Enough’, sending spirals of subtle production and warm vocal performances into the audience before ‘Side’ a balance of alt-pop sounds and boundless positivity. Overall, the project is a grounded and illuminating experience, leaving you pining for more of Bliss’ joyous realism.

Bliss shares a comment on the new project, “The EP acts like a relationship in reverse. We start at the end and end at the beginning. It’s a vulnerable, fierce, soft and joyful set of tracks that reminds us there’s always a new beginning when we draw a line in the sand.”
