Bringing fresh sounds to the pop scene, Beth Duck releases ‘Nomophobia’

Based in London, electronic pop artist Beth Duck has been shaking up the music scene for some time now. “A fast rising electronic pop artist” according to LOCK Magazine, she has collaborated multiple times with LA-based producer Lucian, works that have amassed more than 5 million collective plays on digital platforms.

‘Nomophobia’ marks Beth Duck’s latest release, a catchy and relatable take on people’s addictive relationship with their phones and online lives. The synth-driven instrumental fits Beth’s soft voice perfectly, resulting in a catchy pop hit that will definitely leave its mark.

“My new single was inspired by a realization that we, as a generation, have become so obsessed with out phones that we are stuck online in a cyber world where we no longer need to hang out in real life,” explains Beth Duck. “Nomophobia is the irrational fear of being without your mobile phone and I wanted to show the difference between the version of ourselves that we portray on the internet and the reality of the world we actually live in.”
