Caleb Hawley releases new single ‘Tell Me What It’s Like To Have A Dream Come True’

Multi-talented Caleb Hawley has released a captivating new single entitled ‘Tell Me What It’s Like to Have a Dream Come True.’ Featuring his distinctive, breathy vocal and fascinating harmonies, the slow beat of the chorus pulses like a heart, elevated by the accordant keys. The song then transitions into a darker, grittier bass led section, punctuated by a whisper of electric guitar. This mid-tempo ballad is a pop paradigm at moments, with ‘80s R&B and rock influences that turn it into something unparalleled.

Discussing the track, Caleb said, “The lyrics are some of the questions that run through my head when I witness my friends seemingly break through barriers, reaching the heights I’ve long pursued, but have yet to realize. I have an inkling that these dreams are an illusion, and are unlikely to bring the peace of mind I’m hoping for.  Still can’t hurt to ask.”

Harlem-based Caleb Hawley is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He can be heard on recent collaborations with Theo Katzman & Cory Wong of Vulfpeck, as well as internet-famed Scary Pockets. He’s also released five albums of his own, refining his sound with each record as he produces a brand of authentic 80’s infused pop that brings the listener on a rollercoaster of emotions.
