It’s finally arrived: the long-awaited debut album ‘FABERGÉ’ from Canadian collective STAYOUTLATE is here, and it’s exceeded high expectations. Tremayne, Scotty IV, Charlie Noiir and YoungWolf bring infectious melodies and dynamic rap flows to their brand of gritty hip-hop. Serving lyrical realness against a backdrop of pulsing bass and kinetic beats, STAYOUTLATE brings themes of hedonism and honesty to their trendy new record, which features the fiery lead single ‘Bodmon Vibes’.
Speaking about the release, the quartet says: “In the social media age, everyone has this expectation for you to be bright and perfect. The reality is “perfect” doesn’t exist and on top of that, the stress we all experience striving for perfection can be catastrophic. Sometimes dancing with your darkness leads to a brighter tomorrow.”
Titled after the Fabergé Egg, a 19th century symbol of opulence, ‘FABERGÉ’ certainly depicts a vision of grandeur with its sophisticated soundscapes. The four rappers and songwriters have been working together since 2014, teaming up with producers YoungWolf and Zepfire to craft the irresistible sound of their new album. Racking up support from the likes of Wordplay Mag, Best In New Music, Ones to Watch and more, STAYOUTLATE are set for big things.
