Casey Carmichael returns with affectionate new single ‘Hold My Hand’

Rising folk songwriter Casey Carmichael originally found his place in the R&B scene but steadily developed a love for country and folk and a penchant for the “four chords and the truth” approach to writing. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina and now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, the artist has a guitar craft refined at Berklee College of Music, using his talents to speak to his love and connection, inspired by his wife and daughter.

With a beautifully simple warmth and presence, the latest release from Casey is ‘Hold My Hand’, a track that feels rich in musicality despite its sparse arrangement. Through a single vocal line and acoustic guitar the artist fills the air with emotion, delivering his vocals with a captivating humanity.

Casey adds, “Hold My Hand is about overcoming difficult circumstances. We face many challenges throughout life, and when you face these challenges with your partner, it is up to you to reassure them that everything is going to be okay. This song focuses on sticking together through it all and focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel.”
