Cassia is a band making their presence known in the UK scene. They are fresh off the back of a tour with Circa Waves, and a string of dates supporting Bastille, as well as headlining Kendall Calling’s ‘Calling Out’ stage. Lauded by the press and radio, the three-piece from Macclesfield have come along way from their first debut single ‘100 Times Over’ in 2017. Two albums and years of relentless performances later, they have 60 million Spotify streams and are poised to take their joyous vibe even further.
Cassia is back with a brand new indie-pop banger that feels like a firework set to burst into a million colours. ‘Find My Way Around’ blends effortless grooves with catchy vocals and shiny atmosphere to create a vibrant track. Choruses soar above the bouncy instrumentation, with rich harmonies taking us into an idyllic soundscape. The track is optimistic, joyful and overwhelmingly inspiring, a great addition to the bands recent run of singles seeing success through ‘High Tones’ and ‘whatstheuse’. Frontman Rob Ellis explains, “Find My Way Around is about embracing change and reshaping our mindset regularly. I always see it as if our minds are pliable like play-dough, bending and adapting to our surroundings, which sometimes is really hard. When writing the lyrics, it was going through my head about the times I’ve had to reinvent myself. It’s a reminder of the fluid nature of existence to myself, whether it’s redefining my identity or navigating relationships. I think this resonates universally, as most people probably encounter these moments at least a couple of times in their life. It’s a very poignant message for me and I’m really proud of it”
