Recently expanding her creativity with exciting new visuals, Chel is cementing 2024 as her year.
As her return to release in 2023 saw an immediate buzz, Chel has continued to steadily unveil smooth soundscapes and captivating visuals. Her latest reveal ‘Papaya’ is drenched in romantic and seductive warmth, immediately setting the scene with a hazy reversed piano, before introducing sleek R&B drums and angelic vocal layers. As the melodies steadily breeze through the tender atmosphere, Chel’s vocals take control, layered with smokey harmony as her irresistible lyricism cascades on the listener.
Chel shares a comment on the new track, ”I just want to have fun in music and the song just really reflects my energy when I’m into someone, I wanted that feeling of excitement and heightened interest bottled up in a song!”
