Chemical Reset drops feel-good jam ‘Lucky’

Aussie brother band Chemical Reset just dropped their first song of 2025, ‘Lucky‘. The song has a lot of elements, from skilful guitar picking, to tasteful vocal harmonies, and an infectious groove. The song is their third single and gives listeners a taste of what’s to come on their album expected to drop in July.

The song opens with isolated guitar picking before the drums and vocals join the party. It’s got an upbeat yet laid back vibe, but the chorus opens the song up wide, with warm harmonies and a big sound. There’s a nice groove running throughout the song, making it an easy and enjoyable listen.

Lyrically, ‘Lucky’ speaks about love, gratitude, and trying to enjoy the little moments with lines like “I’ve gotta be the luckiest guy I have ever met” and “all I want is a couple perfect days.” It feels real and relatable.

Gal Musette (Grace) joins the brothers on the song, contributing her vocal and bass work to the mix, adding a strong presence to the song.

Jono and Greg—who’ve been jamming together since they were kids—say the song is about staying up late, dreaming big, and enjoying life as it comes.

Listen to the new single ‘Lucky’, and catch Chemical Reset playing shows in Southern California—and keep an eye out for that new album dropping later this year.
