Chicago rapper and producer Z-Gang releases new single ‘UP’

Chicago based rap artist, musician and producer Z-Gang has just released his new single ‘UP’ taken from his forthcoming album, which is set to be released on Thanksgiving, November 26.

The track was produced by Svgarbeats, who comes with over 100 million streams under his belt, and with Z-Gang rising up the ranks in his own right, this new track might form the basis of a new long term relationship between both of them.

2020 has been a tough year for artists with the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, however Z Gang has been growing from strength to strength, and trying to build on the previous support flowing in from the likes of NBC, Hip Hop Weekly, Chicago’s 107.5 FM, Power 92.3 Radio, and 101.9 FM Miami.

‘Up’ is the latest single from the Wind City artist who is still raving over the success of his last couple of singles ‘Slide With Me’ and ‘Live’ which featured rising star T-Rell who has collaborated with artists such as Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates and Moneybagg Yo. ‘Up’ is a heavy hitting rap track which sees Z-Gang in confident triumphant mode as he declares “I’m all the way UP”, while motivating his listeners along the way.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Z-Gang says, “everything I rap about on ‘UP’ is real life, my real life. I’ve been down so long that it’s nowhere else for me to go but up, hence the title of the single. I’m a winner not a loser, you feel me. ‘UP’ is for the underdogs in life, my message is simply – never give up, your blessings are coming”.

An artist with two decades in the game, with roots from the south side of Chicago, Z-Gang has been making music since his teenage years. Being in the industry since his youth, Z-Gang has pushed himself and is not just an artist but also a producer and entrepreneur. Founding the music company Z Gang Entertainment, he shares about his plans for the future, “I have never given up, I’ve come from nothing to something, and I’m doing this for my people… RIP Big Juice and G-Bo (Bo Bo Gang)”.
