CHINAH drop new track ‘Even Love’

With each release since the arresting electro-noir of EP, When The Lights Come On, Chinah have been inching ever-closer to a radio-centric sound.

Thankfully, the Danish trio haven’t sacrificed any of their idiosyncrasies in the process. Recent single, ‘Can’t Remember How It Feels’, was the same old Chinah, except the darkness had lifted; the beats more buoyant, synths even more dazzling, and the hallmark skeletal riffs crawling up and down the track.

This time around, Chinah have added yet another string to their bow: groove. New track, ‘Even Love’, revisits the darkness heard on the debut EP, but replaces the riffs for punchy basslines and eclectic percussion. Lead Singer, Fine Glindvad, dominates the track as always, with her smooth, hushed tones and melancholic lyrics about the push and pull of love. Once again, Chinah prove that no matter which sound they lean toward, they’re incapable of creating a bad track.
