Cian Jay drops new double single ‘Trial & Error’

Cian Jay has released the new double single ‘Trial & Error’, showcasing his affinity for chilled and original indie rap. The shimmering synths and dynamic rhythms of first track ‘Define Me’ features the smooth productions of James Kinasz (JFK), paired with Cian’s punchy Brit-style vocals. This is followed by the light and buoyant ‘21st Century Rockstar’, with spacey pads and backing vocals from the track’s producer Beau Miles. Cian’s introspective lyricism on both tracks reveals that this prodigy is set for big things.

Speaking of his new release, Cian says: “‘Trial & Error’ is a 2 track single that speaks on my own personal philosophies. Two very different sides of me; the anxious – yet the rebellious. Feeling detest towards the status quo yet fear of falling out of place. It’s a battle between two headspaces; my anxious dependence upon the future, but my intense desire to stay grounded in the world on a day-to-day basis.”
