The single arrives just in time for summer as Cap continues his emphatic flair.
Built around swift Rhodes piano licks and sun-drenched grooves, the song channels a nostalgic warmth that leans into the ever-lovable nostalgic pop-rock. Cap’s vocals bring an understated charm, choosing emotion over polish, while a contribution from his daughter on backing vocals gives the track an extra layer of detail. Commenting on the decision to take the mic himself, Cris explains, “For a long time, I worked with amazing singers. But at some point, I realised these songs are so personal, they’re my thoughts, moods, and stories. I want to be the one to tell them. Even if it’s not perfect, I believe my voice carries the emotion more honestly than any flawless technique could. It’s not about perfection, it’s about authenticity. Having my daughter on backing vocals made this project truly special—her voice brings the story full circle.”
