Cyrano returns with dreamy new single ‘Tundra’

The new single ‘Tundra’ from Scottish producer and multi-instrumentalist Cyrano takes us on a dreamy journey through his world of electronic soul. Along the way, we encounter influences from 90s techno and 00s hip hop, leaving you unsure which direction the track will go next, as Cyrano’s silky voice floats alongside leftfield beats and shimmering melodies. Co-produced by Foals’ Kit Monteith, this cinematic release showcases Cyrano’s enticing and original sonic realm.

Revealing the meaning behind the song, Cyrano says: “I wanted to make a track so chaotic, that could mirror the oscillating and often unpredictable feeling of social anxiety, and the journey it can take you on. Our aim was to break our beats and the norms of a song structure to keep things as irrational as life itself when these feelings arise.”

Cyrano made his debut with the single ‘White Wine’, which landed a Hype Machine Number 1 and strong support from both BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. This year, he will embark on a UK tour with Leif Erikson, with ‘Tundra’ marking the first installment from Cyrano’s upcoming debut EP ‘Consolations’. Crafting a genre-defying signature sound, Cyrano’s creativity knows no bounds, and this is an artist set for great things.
