Massachusetts band Hidden Figures have just released their newest single ‘Damaged Art’.

The band was founded by Eric Fay (bass) and Casey Evans (guitar/vocals) in 2020 after their previous band, Kerrigan, went on an indefinite hiatus following the passing of their guitarist Timothy Plouffe.

The two were joined by former members of Kerrigan, Zach Sharp (guitar), and Devin LaPlaca (drums), with the addition of Nick Farrar on vocals.

The single was produced by Ice Nine KillsRicky Armellino who also features on the release.

The track is about the bands’ experiences as individuals and as a band in the aftermath (or in the wake) of the death of their long-time friend and bandmate Timothy Plouffe.

‘Damaged Art’ goes in hard both melodically and also vocally, whilst also delivering heartfelt lyrics about losing someone close to you.

This track will be on the band’s upcoming EP, ‘For the Both Of Us’.

As for what is to come next for Hidden Figures, they will be wrapping up their debut EP ‘For the Both Of Us with the two remaining tracks to be released as singles following this release.
