Dehko drops new album Tektroit

Detroit-based DJ and producer Dehko has returned with an infectious new album titled “Tektroit.” Led by the lead single “Infinity,” the album is a high-energy, dancefloor-filling experience from beginning to end. “Infinity” features a colorful mix of atmospheric synths, hard-hitting drum beats, and grooving bass lines, all merged together with the help of Detroit rappers Forever Meech and Wholehunnid Los.

Dehko’s venture began at the age of 12 when he started teaching himself the basics of DJing through YouTube and local mentors. He started playing Hip-Hop but fell in love with electronic music after watching a video of Ultra Music Festival 2013. Using his family name and past popularity, Dehko then organized his own events, blending electronic and hip-hop in his DJ sets.

Dehko’s strategy of having local rappers open for him paid off, selling out venues like Vogue Nightclub in Pontiac and Electricity & Annex Nightclub at the age of 18. Now, with his new album “Tektroit,” Dehko is taking his sound further, fusing together Techno, Future, and Bass House to create a signature sound that is uniquely his own.

With infectious beats and a genre-bending approach, Dehko is definitely an artist to keep your eye on. “Tektroit” promises to be a highlight of 2023’s electronic music scene, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this rising star.
