Depression, Baby drop new single “In My Blood”

Despite forming in 2019, Depression, Baby have already managed to create a unique and signature sound that has been lauded by tastemakers and fans alike.  The likes of BBC Introducing, The Line of Best Fit, and huge Spotify Editorial Playlists have been quick to offer their full support. Depression, Baby are set to be the next big thing in 2023, with sold-out shows and a hugely loyal fanbase.

Their latest offering comes in the form of single “In My Blood.” Featuring pounding drums, groovy bass lines and grungy guitars, the track will be sure to pick you up, pull you in and leave you wanting more. Infectious vocals smash through mix, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.

Speaking about the single, they say: “The song was built off the demo made by me (Dan, frontman) during a long period of isolation in my flat in January this year. I don’t know if it was because the new year didn’t have its usual sense of opportunity due to the sorry state the country was in, or that I was just freezing because I hadn’t had the heating on for a week, but I wanted a song that had energy and life. I wanted to deal with some things I’d been feeling for a while but also remind myself that I’ve been down before and made it out ok so why wouldn’t it be the same this time?

I really enjoyed playing the big energy songs on our tour last year so I knew that it was something I wanted to keep exploring with this next body of work.”

Their already-huge success saw them have their best year to date in 2022 having signed with Marshall Live Agency, touring the UK, selling out London headline shows and releasing their first EP A Window With A Screen For A View‘. We cannot wait to see what 2023 brings them.
