Devault has shared a new track, ‘Steele‘, with a high-octane visual accompaniment.
Focused aptly around a steel drum melody the track the new cut sees the songwriter-producer fusing tropical influences with gorgeous electronic elements. The visual for the track features a number of fast-paced shots of dirtbikes, gangsters and guns. Check it out below.
“‘Steele’ was a record I had done for quite some time, but shelved it for a bit,” Devault explains of the track. “When it came time to put out my first EP I knew I had to put it in somehow, and thrilled to have a video accompanying it. The video captures the idea of the song perfectly. A chase, chasing down your past, chasing your full potential. The record is packed with energy, and the frantic nature of the video gives the song a fresh, dark new feeling.”
Last month Devault teamed up with Bipolar Sunshine and Njomza for a new track titled ‘Stay’.
