The album begins with the lively and mesmerizing ‘Love’s Company’ that radiates with delightful instrumentals and beautiful vocals from Djanan Turan.
‘Diamond In Black’ has a haunting feel to it, as eclectic instruments and dreamy vocals blend together to create a powerful track.
‘Crux’ continues the sombre aesthetic through heartfelt and emotional lyrics that flow alongside the slow arrangement.
‘Yangin’ translates to fire and sees Djanan vocalize a powerful tale about the struggles that we endure.
‘Don’t We Know’ is more uplifting then preceding tracks thanks to soulful vocals, the melody compels us to tap along to the fast paced rhythm.
The next song sees the artist sing about helpless times in her own native language.

Biography
Djanan was born in the city of Adana in Turkey’s south before moving with her family to Samsun, which is located 750 km north on the Black Sea coast.
Life in her conventional middle-class family fell apart when her father’s business ventures failed and he went bankrupt.
Djanan spent a lot of time growing up with her grandmother, while her mum ran a small family hotel.
Left to her own devices in a small town, music became a lifeline through which she could express herself and connect with the outside world.
