Dutch hailing quartet Dragonfruit are back with an infectious new E.P entitled “Honeymoon Phase” – spearheaded by single “Space Traveler.” The band have managed to create a genre-bending space in which they can fully express themselves. Over the course of the 5-track offering, Dragonfruit merge everything together, from funk to R&B to indie and everything in between, the E.P really showcases the musicianship of the quartet.
Single “Honeymoon Phase” is an infectious offering. With grooving percussion and heartwarming synths, the track is sure to pick you up and leave you wanting more. On top, soulful vocals grace the track softly and work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics. Alongside, talented artist Hudson adds a different (but welcome) vocal dimension to the track, complete with irresistible melodies.
Speaking on the new single, the band share: “Lead single of EP Honeymoon Phase. Space Traveler tells a story of someone who suffers from escapism so bad they escape to the galaxies. The song was written together with L.A based songwriters Daniel Davila and Cooper Bell, with the latter one featuring on the track itself as Hudson. ”
