It’s time to introduce DREAMPROPHET, a mysterious project arising from London. The first track we get to dive into is ‘The Messenger’. Immediately, the electronic landscape feels equal parts ritual and rave, rising to shrieking heights as synths pulsate, the foundations unsteady and scattered. The atmosphere is haunting, carving out something otherworldly and diverse.
Warping motifs and deep textures leave space for flourishes to fold and fall on top of one another, held steady by subtle but driving and rattly percussion. The accompanying video echoes these themes, featuring a mysterious, psychedelic connection that appears against the cityscape behind it.
The elusive DREAMPROPHET shares, “I recorded a demo version of this track for one of my past aliases almost a decade ago, only to later rediscover it, add the oracular messages via my own filtered voice, alongside inviting my past collaborator M to record some guitar textures/solos.”
From the noise, DREAMPROPHET emerges, the project is said to strive for euphoria, liberty, beauty and chaos. Audiences are waiting patiently for the story to evolve.
