Earl Gray Collective unleash thought-provoking track ‘This House’

‘This House’ is a beautiful blend of spirited melodies and musing lyrics that navigates through a story of self understanding and realisation. The instrumentals emphatically build, whilst maintaining a warm, mellow tone. With influences ranging from Jamie Cullum, John Mayer, Paramore and many more, Earl Gray Collective’s mix of blues and funk inspired indie rock/pop, is brightly unique and constantly evolving, with their newest offering elevating their eclectic style to new heights.

Speaking of their latest track, Earl Gray Collective said: “‘This House’ is a song that really takes you on a journey, the lyrics describe an eye opening moment in my life when I realised I had some unhealthy and sometimes unconscious biases that I needed to confront and deal with. We really tried to capture that journey in the song leaving loads of space for the story and the structure to develop and ultimately to create this moment of real unity at the end.”

Hailing from Cardiff, Hampshire, Woking and Australia, the four-piece including Will Gray (Vocals, Piano, Guitar), Katie Earl (Drums), Zac Guy (Electric Guitar) and Alex Neil (Bass) have firmly honed their sound and already gained support from notable tastemakers such as Alice Amel at Riverside Radio, as well as John Kennedy at Radio X, who recently played their singles ‘Holiness’ and ‘Landslide’. As they continue to turn heads, Earl Gray Collective undoubtedly have a dazzling future ahead.
