Echoes of Thunder are back again, already dropping their fourth release of the year—their new hard-hitting song ‘Resurgence‘. Known for their big high-energy sound, the band delivers another hard rock track built to pump you up and help push you through whatever life throws your way.
Led by Chad Garneau, a meteorologist who swapped the weather forecasts for guitars, Echoes of Thunder mixes heavy riffs, strong vocals, and lyrics into a song that has, as Garneau refers to, “storm-fueled intensity”. ‘Resurgence’ is about getting knocked down and getting back up, stronger than before. “I didn’t see a lot of hard rock music that actually lifted people up—so I decided to create it myself.”
The guitars have a gnarly grit and the character filled vocals carry a lot of emotion. The whole production feels big and radio-ready. The chorus: “Get up get up and rise again / It’s not, it’s not over yet / Resurgence coming, so don’t regress” send a clear message to the listener. It’s meant to light a fire and push them through.
Echoes of Thunder isn’t trying to follow the crowd. They’re making music for the fighters, the dreamers, and anyone who refuses to give up.
