Edenhill shares indie-pop gem ‘Summertime’

UK based artist Edenhill has shared with us the anthem of the summer, delivering feel-good melodies and blissful vocals. Having written and recorded every instrument featured, the introspective song has been intricately crafted to make every listener feel uplifted. Lyrically delivering a touching tribute to not only a friendship, but to a generation as a whole, Edenhill’s ‘Summertime’ really is an unmissable new release.

Edenhill reveals: “Ironically, ‘Summertime’ was written in the Autumn of 2020 after me and some friends spontaneously decided to go swimming in the sea at midnight. Although it was cold, dark and a bit reckless, we all felt so free In that moment. I wanted to immortalise that feeling forever. Writing this song just instantly took me back to that place. Once I showed it to a few friends, it became the anthem of our friendship and now it acts a homage to a random night that could’ve been like any other, but wasn’t.”

Edenhill has already been turning notable heads since his debut, performing at an event for Richard Branson, with his demo’s also finding themselves in Robbie Williams’ lap. As well as this, the rising talent became a BBC Spotlight Artist earlier this year with his stellar track ‘Reliever’. Rapidly making his mark on the industry, keep an eye out for what this talent returns with.
