Stijn De Nollin is a talented drummer from Belgium who has been playing music from the young age of seven. He came from a very musical background and so it was expected of him to learn an instrument. He went to music school when he was just seven years old and began to learn how to read and write music notation, as well as how to play the piano. However, it was always his dream to play the drums.
Eventually, his parents allowed him to begin to play drums at the age of thirteen. As he progressed and learned more his parents agreed to buy him a drum kit. His skill didn’t go unnoticed by his parents and teachers and he was soon transferred to a school where he could focus on drums as his first and main instrument.
Stijn has played in many bands but is now focusing on teaching drums and piano. The youngest student was only 6 and the oldest has been 67. On his Facebook page, he regularly posts different tutorials and techniques for people learning drums.
