Energetic trio The Love Buzz share vibrant new single ‘Sainsbury’s’

Hailing from Cork, indie-rockers The Love Buzz impress on their single ‘Sainsbury’s’ taken from their wondrous EP ‘Here Comes The Scum’. Delivering an abundance of uplifting playfulness, ‘Sainsbury’s’ is upbeat, quirky and ear-catching. The tongue-in-cheek lyrics perfectly capture the trio’s personality, and makes their unique brand even more enticing. Consisting of Kieran Hurley on guitar and vocals, Aidan Lynch on bass and Henry Love on drums, The Love Buzz are certainly injecting a lot of fun back into the post-punk and indie-rock scenes.

Discussing the meaning behind the track, Kieran Hurley explains: “It’s a tale of romance, jealousy and violence. The dangerous mentality of young lads is something you can miss in Ireland but it’s ever prevalent in British culture, a fish out of water story with a happy ending.”

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Porridge Radio and Declan McKenna, the band’s fresh, exciting brand has been turning heads since their debut back in 2019. Showing no signs of stopping, this is band that is on the road to making it big.
