Estelle Mey releases thrashing new single “Snake (Rejection)”

Estelle Mey didn’t always have a passion for punk music. Growing up in France, she actually started out by writing more stripped-back tunes. However, upon visiting England she became instantly hooked on the punk scene and decided to give it go herself – and what a journey it’s been. After meeting drummer Rob Dowsett, Mey’s sound has expanded even further and the likes of BBC1, Radio X, CLOUT and NEW NOISE have all offered their full support.

Estelle Mey is back and this time with a new single entitled “Snake (Rejection).” Merging infectious melodies with thrashing instrumentation, the track will be sure to leave a lasting impression. The single features energetic and hard-hitting choruses that work hand in glove with well-penned build up sections. Alongside the audio release is an immersive lyric video.

Speaking about the single she says: “Snake (Rejection) is about saying stop to someone or something that makes you feel like you’re slowly dying . Letting go , speak out loud and walk away from what stops you from being happy, from being yourself or from evolving.”

With their E.P “INVERTED” to be released soon, we cannot wait to see what 2023 holds for Estelle Mey.
