Born in Estonia, SVNDRA has without a doubt come a long way since she first traveled to the US at age 17. From recording her first demos in a basement in Queens, to later moving to LA and working alongside the likes of Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown and Ester Dean, the rising artist is gearing up for a monumental career in music. As a classically trained dancer, SVNDRA became immersed in the hip hop and dance communities in LA, and started writing for other artists back in 2015, before launching her own career as an artist in 2019.
Now, following two acclaimed singles, SVNDRA has returned with “Rocketship,” which might be one of her strongest works to date, and will be premiered live at the Tallinn Music Week in Europe in September. Driven by trap-inspired drums and infectious melodies, the instrumental perfectly supports SVNDRA’s uplifting vocal performance that definitely takes the song into new heights.
