Etaoin and Tadhg Daly tackle ghosting and heartbreak on duet ‘Not Over You’

Singer-songwriter Etaoin teams up with Tadhg Daly for their new duet ‘Not Over You’. Each singing the part of a breakup, the track builds up to a climactic cut off, reminiscent of being suddenly ghosted.

Building on Etaoin’s traditional acoustic folk sound with heavy pop influences, the belting vocal performances and sweet timbre from both singers are made front and centre by the Dustin Dooley production. With both artists recently named Amazon Music ‘Ones To Watch’, it’s no surprise to see them combining their singer-songwriter and guitar built influences together and creating a down to earth track that showcases different perspectives of the same failed relationship.

“It’s about two people that have drifted away from one another, without ever being able to stop loving each other. I think there is a really honest and delicate energy in the track and I’m so proud of what we came up with,” says Tadhg about the song. Etaoin adds: “It’s about the different perspectives that come with break ups. Saying you shouldn’t talk but still getting a rush when they call you and picking up regardless.
