North West London born, but Edinburgh based FIZA has showcased that she can excel in most aspects of the music industry. Not only does she write incredible soul infused pop music, but she also offers a staple live show, becoming prominent in Scotland’s live scene. Her latest offering comes in the form of infectious single ‘Pieces.’
‘Pieces’ showcases FIZA’s flair, ability and relentlessness to get to the top. Heartwarming synths merge together against heavenly guitar parts that ebb and flow between each other. Heavenly backing vocals lay upon emotionally penned lead vocals, giving the track it’s soul heart. These vocals are distinctive and unique to her with a nod to a few different inspirations and makes the sound her own.
Speaking about the release she shares: “‘Pieces’ is about the difficulties in trying to piece yourself and your life back together whilst going through the trials and tribulations of life and what it throws at you. It is about reminding yourself you are stronger than you give yourself credit for and you can help guide yourself into a future you are comfortable with.”
