flyckt shares newest single ‘One Day’

Swedish artist and producer flyckt has released his new single ‘One Day’, embracing a variety of influences to create an irresistible track. With dynamic tribal style percussion and chilled electro-pop overtones, flyckt lends his smooth vocals to infectious melodies and hopeful lyricism. The music video provides a darkly humorous embodiment of the isolation and boredom that lockdown brings, which will certainly resonate with all viewers.

Speaking about the new visual, flyckt explains: “In the ‘One Day’ video, we aimed to capture the feeling of making time pass while waiting for the day when everything will be different. There is desperation and boredom but also hope for a change! The imagery relates to the track but also to the times we all are going through now. The obvious darkness in the not self-selected isolation turns humorous when emphasized on camera, right?”

The son of a Grammy-winning mixing engineer, flyckt has been immersed in music throughout his life. He was a member of the band Urban Cone, who produced hits like ‘Old School’ and ‘Urban Photograph’. He also flexes his production skills in the musical trio Moodshift, alongside fellow members Lucas Nord and Oliver Nelson. His latest project as flyckt has already garnered millions of streams on Spotify for the singles ‘Chemistry’ and ‘What About My Love’, with new release ‘One Day’ sure to keep propelling flyckt to even greater heights.
