Parisian trip-hop duo Frizzy P & Mr Cole emerge from the suburbs of the French capital to deliver an analogue soul that blends culture, nostalgia and sleek production in a singular universally pleasing cocktail.
After their 2017 debut EP, they quickly went on to establish a growing social media presence and garner the attention of BBC 6Music and Nova. Now, their latest EP Ladi Dadi III has begun to cross the horizon, debuting a fresh evolution with the single ‘All Good Things.’
With a sense of the 90s in every kick drum and snare bounce, the sampled feel balanced with organic tonality creating a tapestry of textural diversity.
Confident and optimistic, the vocal performance is sleek and infectious whether rapping or singing, oozing groove with polished production and a natural finish.
Frizzy P shares, “Carried by hypnotic beats and an almost magical nighttime vibe, the track explores introspection, solitude, and personal liberation. I chose to unveil raw emotions, shifting in between nights of excess and poignant confrontations with my vulnerabilities. At the same time, I crafted an immersive sonic atmosphere, blending dark rhythms with airy melodies.”
