Tom and his computer is a newish project from Danish musician Martin Garde Abildgaard, who is signed to the Trentemøller label.
‘Future Ruins’ will be the first release through the label and will also be the title track from the debut album, which is due for release in October.
In terms of melody the song has a dark feel to it, partly as a result of the choice of instruments and beats and the way they have been arranged but also thanks to the haunting vocals provided by Roxy Jules.
