Following on from their well-received debut ‘Returned From Sea’ and impressive sophomore namesake album, Glaswegian four-piece Sister John return with their new single ‘In My Place’, taken from their upcoming third album. The band weave together dreamy melodies with layered guitar on this organic track. Bringing together lo-fi, indie-rock and folk textures, Sister John presents a unique and compelling soundscape.
Sister John made their debut in 2017, and have since received consistent support from BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 6 Music. In 2019, they sold out a show at Glasgow’s Poetry Club, before making their first appearance in London at a sell-out show at the Sebright Arms. The four multi-instrumentalists have elevated their sound to a whole new level with their upcoming album, demonstrating that Sister John are set for big things on the indie scene.
