Marking the first in a series of releases that are bound to help transcend his alias to a whole new level, rising dance music artist grey prince has just unveiled “Cory in ya house,” arguably one of his best singles to date. Inspired by the soundtrack of the 2000’s console video game ‘Jet Set Radio,’ “cory in ya house” brings together elements of breakbeats and cloudrap with an infectious electronic flair, that shouldn’t be missed.
“Inspired by the Jet Set Radio OST’s colorful synths and funky basslines, ‘Cory in Ya House’ merges together breakbeat and hip hop influence into a new, distinct sound. The inception of the hook was to namedrop my childhood best friend, Cory,” explains grey prince in a press statement.
grey prince is an Iranian-American producer and rapper who draws influences from a large number of genres and styles. Not taking himself too seriously, he often embraces fun and internet culture in his tunes, and has a slew of exciting singles lined up for this year that will further showcase his unique sound.
