With his first release dating back to 2014, and his first two albums dropping in 2017, GunFight has been laying the foundations for a successful trajectory in electronic music for some time now. In early 2020 he kicked off the new chapter in his career with “Purgatory,” and has since dropped almost two dozen singles independently, amassing over 1 million collective streams, as well as support from some of the industry’s most established tastemakers.
GunFight’s genre bending skills are unmatched, and his latest single “Rough House in the Rave” is the perfect example of that. Filled with exciting moments all throughout, it brings together a funky intro, followed by engaging vocal samples and effects before the drop finally arrives, letting chaos loose with its fierce synths and groovy percussion.
