With over 1.7 million followers on TikTok, and a desire to foster an environment of women empowerment, inclusivity and openness towards mental health, the Australia-based group are making waves within the industry, and have now just unveiled their biggest single to date with “SERIOUS.”
Coming to digital platforms in partnership with blockplay, a brand new digital NFT label, “SERIOUS” combines elements from classic 00s R&B with futuristic synth lines and melodies, making up for an impressive and infectious result. The music video on the other hand is truly an A-grade production with lots of vibrant sets, energetic choreography and charismatic performances from the group’s members, Bernie, Taya and Gabby. As group member Taya explains:
“Every time we post a video or write a song, I imagine the moment it’s being viewed or listened to.. Mental health is an issue close to my heart, so we hope our art takes that person to another place, somewhere far away from the mundane, far away from any pandemic, from un-paid bills, from life struggles.. even if it’s just for a minute!”
