The new track comes as the second instalment of the rapper’s Hardy Season, a project which sees the rising MC document his life episodically through music and visuals. ‘Naij’, which was produced by Ozzie Beats and CallMeTheKid, is an icy cut packed with weighty 808 basses, atmospheric bells and the MC’s relentless flows. The first instalment of Hardy Season, ‘Rapper‘, dropped two months ago and has since racked up over 8 million streams on Spotify and 6 million video views as well as being playlisted by BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and more.
