Headmaster is introducing the first chapter of a new musical journey, unveiling the ten-track album Seasons Vol. 1 (AlKiNoFi) [Summer]. It’s vibrant, upbeat, and in this first season of the four-part colossus of sound, he embodies it on long days and open skies. With the ability to explore the thematic ebbs, flows and emotional rhythms of the year through colour-rich soundscapes and earnest storytelling, Headmaster is delivering so incredibly charming music.
From North Wales, and now based in London, Headmaster’s sonic palette is one of classic tones, melodic optimism and warmth. Nostalgia is brimming, with indie guitars and the occasional synth splash also making an appearance.
He shares, “With Seasons Vol. 1, the first part of my Seasons tetralogy, I aim to capture the vibrant energy and long days of summer, full of hope, warmth, and light. In this volume, featuring 10 songs designated as All Killer, No Filler, you will find a collection of singles with no album tracks, underscoring my commitment to deliver impactful and standalone pieces of music with every release.”
These aspirations are built alongside co-producer The Wizard. Seasons also reflects Headmaster’s other life as CEO and Executive Headteacher Designate of Hertswood Academy Trust, bearing the academy’s shield on the cover. Proceeds from the music will raise funds for mental and physical health charities.
