W7lf has been consistently releasing moving and quite a different brand of hip-hop in his style and swagger. With several songs spread across 2021 last year, he ended it with arguably his best one yet. ‘The Time’ is a massively well constructed and complex mould of hip-hop and even jazz infused.
It’s groovy and vibrant whilst also being moving and quite cryptic, which also highlights just how serious W7lf takes his craft. Layered with inspirational samples to set the mood of an almost patriotic feeling, the now Perth based troubadour continues to impress in this new gem of him. We look forward to what W7lf brings to fold in 2022.
