Ines Rae delivers nostalgic bop ‘Superhero’

Ines Rae is on a roll and her latest offering ‘Superhero’ is a refreshing addition to her catalogue of music. More stripped back with acoustic elements that build to her signature, glistening Pop sound, Ines Rae sings of her love for her roots and how they will forever draw her back. Working with some of the UK’s most prolific songwriters, including Bastille’s Chris Wood, Ines is a serious contender in the Pop game.

Talking about the new single, Ines Rae shares: Superhero is one of the first songs I ever wrote. It’s about growing up and always staying young no matter how old you are and that everyone still has that small child within them. One of my favourite things to do as a child was to dress up as Spiderman and run around the park. I refused to wear anything other than a Spiderman costume for about 5 years of my life, it had to be Spiderman though. Batman wasn’t acceptable lol. Don’t ask me why because I’ve never even seen the films but still to this day, this memory makes me so happy and I had to write a song about it.”

Ines Rae is carefully paving the way for a long and fruitful career and 2022 holds big things for the young artist.
