We sit down with Irish band InBetween Honey as they release their new tune ‘It’s Alright’ which has already seen tons of support online. We’re delighted to share some insight into what makes them tick as a band.

Tell us about yourself as a band/artist?

InBetween Honey is an Indie Rock band from Navan Co.Meath who have formed a reputation of releasing hard hitting guitar driven songs since their very first release. Having played Electric Picnic on two occasions and performed in well known venues across Ireland also in the high renowned Dublin Castle, London this year we continue to go from strength to strength InBetween are Dylan Hickey, brothers JohnPaul & Matty Melady, Ciara McManus and Dan Battigan

What got you into music?

Shared love of bands between band members / school friends when we were younger. A lot of us growing up went to the same gigs, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Liam Gallagher and Blossoms being huge influences on our secondary school life!

How would you describe your sound?

90’s Guitar driven songs with a sprinkle of 80’s synth we like to call it. We take great inspiration from guitar bands like Oasis and Catfish and the bottlemen together with all our love for Las Vegas rockers The Killers.

What is your favourite venue to play?

Whelans in Dublin will always have a special place in our heart as its the first venue we sold out as a band!

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Amongst all our influences we share a great for The Killers it would be a great honour to share a stage/studio with Brandon, Ronnie and co!
